Application and characteristics of ABS filament

ABS is the least expensive material , and one of the most widely used because it is lightweight and durable.
This material is suitable for many different applications , such as:

• machinery spare parts (due to dimensional stability , strength and stiffness )

• elements that are exposed to high temperatures , such as sunlight or hot water (temperature range for continuous operation -40 ° C to + 85 ° C)

•  helmets , protective elements (it has a very high impact resistance)

•  in the manufacture of pipes ( has good chemical resistance ) .

  In contrast to PLA filament , filament ABS suitable for printing small elements with a lot of detail.
